- Can AI write a whole book for me?
- Some tools will. Squibler, for one, has a button that generates a full-length manuscript from a premise. FeelyWrite does not, by design. It drafts the scenes you plan and leaves every decision about the story with you.
- Is this AI book writer free?

- How long does it take to write a book with AI?
- Generators advertise a first draft in minutes. A book you co-write takes as long as your decisions take. FeelyWrite removes the blank page and the retyping, not the thinking. The thinking is what makes the book worth reading.
- Can I publish a book written with AI on Amazon?
- Yes. Amazon's KDP asks you to disclose AI-generated content when you publish. It defines that as text an AI tool created, "even if you applied substantial edits afterwards." Text you wrote yourself and improved with AI counts as AI-assisted, which you do not have to disclose. This applies to every tool, FeelyWrite's Draft included. Check KDP's content guidelines when you publish, because the policy changes.
- Do I own a book written with FeelyWrite?
- Your manuscript and its copyright belong to you. Cancelling does not change that. Copyright law is a separate question. The US Copyright Office says AI output is protected "only where a human author has determined sufficient expressive elements." Its guidance is at copyright.gov/ai.
- Will the book still sound like me?
- It will if you set it up to. Give Story DNA a paragraph of your own prose along with your tone. Write the openings and endings of important scenes yourself. Those are the lines readers remember.
- Can I edit what the AI writes?
- All of it. Nothing is published automatically and nothing is locked. Anything you keep becomes ordinary text in your manuscript, which you can change, cut or rewrite.
- Does it work for non-fiction books?
- FeelyWrite is built for fiction: novels, series and long stories. Its memory tracks characters, world rules and voice, which is what a novel needs. For a business book or a memoir, a general-purpose tool will fit better. ---
