Is there a free plan?
Yes. Sign up with no card and you get 15 free credits to try every feature. Writing, editing, your story bible and export stay free after they run out; only AI generation stops until you pick a plan.
Which plan should I choose for a novel?
The Author plan, at $19 a month or $15 a month billed annually. Its 400 AI actions a month cover drafting a full novel with help on most chapters. Choose Starter for occasional help and Pro if you write several books at once.
Does a failed request cost a credit?
No. If a request does not come back, the credit goes back to your balance automatically.
What counts as one credit?
Any single AI action: one draft, one rewrite, one brainstorm or one chat message. Writing and editing your own words is always free. So is your story bible (Story DNA) and exporting your book.
What happens when I run out?
You keep full access to your books and can keep writing. To generate more, pick a plan; your credits then refill each month. If you are already subscribed, a top-up pack adds 50, 150 or 500 credits.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Your monthly bucket resets to your plan amount at each renewal. If you need extra, subscribers can buy top-up packs (50, 150, or 500 credits) that stay good for 12 months from purchase.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrades apply immediately with prorated credits (the unused portion of your current plan does not carry over). Downgrades take effect at your next renewal so you keep using the higher plan until then.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling stops future billing and you keep access until the end of your paid period.
What if a payment is refunded?
The credits that came with the refunded payment are removed from your account (floored at 0: we never drive your balance negative). You see an in-app banner explaining what happened.
