Why these are free
Some of these free writing tools cost almost nothing to run. A words-per-page calculator is arithmetic. A name list is a well-made list with a shuffle button. Neither needs an account to be worth your time, so neither asks for one.

- Which tools need an account?
- The six AI generators: plot, novel outline, book title, story starter, character backstory and the paragraph rewriter. On the name and title pages, only the optional generation from your own description needs one. Browsing and rerolling the lists never does.
- What happens when the free credits run out?

- Is the sprint app like the other tools?
