Quick Edit
Ask for the change in plain words
Select the passage, say what you want different, and get it back changed. No presets to hunt through, no menu that almost has the option you meant.
No credit card. Your book stays yours.
When you know the note but not the button
You can say exactly what is wrong — “he is too polite here”, “this is three sentences of throat-clearing” — but no preset in any tool is called that.
Quick Edit takes the note as you would give it to a human editor and applies it to the passage you selected. Nothing else in the chapter moves.
What it does
What Quick Edit actually does
Plain-language instructions
Anything you would tell an editor: tighten this, make her meaner, remove the flashback, keep the dialogue and cut the rest.
Bounded to your selection
The change applies only to what you highlighted, so an edit in scene two cannot quietly reshape scene three.
You approve the result
The edit comes back for review with the change visible before anything replaces your text.
One credit per use
Typing, editing and organising your book are always free. You spend a credit only when you ask the studio to generate something — and if a generation fails, the credit comes back. Edits a selection of up to 6,000 words.

A partner that remembers your whole book
Set your premise
Capture your idea, characters and world as Story DNA. It becomes the memory every suggestion is measured against, so nothing drifts.
Write with a partner
Draft a scene, reshape a paragraph, deepen a description, or ask for three ways forward when you stall. You keep every word you want and ignore the rest.
Keep your voice
Nothing is auto-published and nothing is locked in. Your manuscript stays yours. Export the whole book to docx, epub, pdf, or markdown anytime.
Questions about Quick Edit
How is this different from Rewrite?
Rewrite offers alternatives to compare and choose between. Quick Edit does the one specific thing you asked for. Use Rewrite when you do not know the fix; use Quick Edit when you do.
Can it edit the whole chapter?
It works on a selection of up to 6,000 words, which is most chapters. Larger jobs are better done a scene at a time anyway.
What if it does the wrong thing?
Discard it and rephrase the instruction. Your original text is untouched until you accept the result.
